One of the 4 Objectives in Sabbath School is:
“World Mission Emphasis”
At the end of the 4 th Quarter 2006, The 13 th Sabbath Offering will come to the East-Central Africa Division. The funds collected worldwide will sustain the selected projects below:
Mission Projects
- Maternity-Surgical ward at Songa Adventist Hospital, the only medical facility in hundreds of miles. Institution of East Congo Union in DRC.
- Help establish a new Union Mission office in Northeast Congo, an area of high church growth. The Headquarters is based at Goma DRC.
- Provide classrooms for Ethiopia Adventist Secondary School, a school of about 1,000 students in Southern Ethiopia.
- Provide a health center on the campus of Bugema University to serve the university and the surrounding population, who have no other medical recourse. Bugema is located in Uganda, East Africa.
- Surgical ward for Kendu Adventist Hospital, Kenya, East Africa.
